How would we go about that? Hand out a flyer to everyone in the area telling them to come sit with us?

It seems a bit sparse to me, too. Admittedly I sat down for parts of the match (with my 10-year-old bro-in-law who had a hard time standing the whole time)... When I went to Italy last year I left my flags with some friends and I have no idea what happened to them.

On the bright side, I noticed quite a few people sitting in the non-loyalist section to our left were clapping along with our chants/songs. They weren't singing or chanting but they were clapping.

5 minutes to kickoff there were only like 5 loyalists down there.

I was in section 37 for this game with the 2 bordelinhos and could hear chants from both directions, but mostly heard our gringa friends in the south end zone (count me in on the "love the noise, but it seems out of place" side of things). I figure it's a bit harder to hear the supporters clubs when you're behind them (it sounds much better from the west side, for example).

The Loyalists do seem to be a bit more "scattered" in appearance though, lately, FWIW.

I don't know how to do it. Like I said, there are lots and lots of people participating. They are just spread out all over the place. I'm not sure how to convince everyone to come together. They seem to want to have their space and cheer at the same time.

This problem may fix itself in the new stadium when there isn't quite so much empty space for people to spread out in. Until then, I'm at a loss.

During the Real Madrid game, some people could hear us.

On BS, one guy wondered about "Juventus Reject".

What, he was expecting "Start the bus"?

From my experience in the last few games, the official "ticket checking guys" with the stadium are sending many people that are wanting to cheer with the Loyalists back to their "assigned seats" ... I see the "ticket checkers" throughout the whole game asking to see people's tickets and then those groups of people having to move back to their seats. I guess that is the "ticket checkers" job...?... It has made a big difference this year, it doesn't feel like open seating in the section that the Loyalists are in(guess that changed?)

(I have to sit higher because the drums are too loud for Aero Jr.... but we are cheering the whole game through!!!)

That is why I think the supporters should be behind the goal, don't have to worry about seat jumpers that way.

I appreciate Merrill for starting this thread. I only have a half season ticket so I am not at all the games, but I have noticed something similar. It seems like the energy and the numbers are down. I have a friend who sits in the press box and he has told me on several occassions that since the supporter groups split up he can't hear us anymore whereas last year he could hear us clearly and sometimes knew what song we were on. Part of the reason I joined the loyalists was because I hoped that we could make a serious contribution to the stadium atmosphere, but now a little past mid way into the second season it seems like we are losing momentum as far as the in stadium craziness is concerned. I think comments on this thread noting that we are spread out seem on target. Maybe there isn't anything we can do about it. I wish that more of the loyalists would come the section instead of spreading out around the stadium and that the supporter groups stood next to each other and cheered together at least some of the time (now that both groups are well established would there be that much friction anymore?)...BUT I recognize that probably neither of those are viable solutions. It does seem to me, however, that we need more numbers. I think it would raise the energy level and would help us to make a bigger sound. Would it be possible for the loyalists with kids to come to the section and just stand further back away from the drums?

I think a flyer might work. If we just hand it to the people who sit in E33, E34 and E31. I think people are afraid of someone coming and telling them to get out of their seats, when that sort of thing doesn't actually go on E32. If we could get some to move down, and some to move over. Nobody in E33, E34 or E31 have anything to be afraid of from ticket nazis, because they paid for seats as good as or better than E32.
