As for flags:
I often volunteer to wave one and proceed to do so before the game starts but i always seem to forget about it by the time we score agoal (although i never used to forget earlier in the season) i'll work on remembering more.

As for tickets:
I don't think a lot will happen with the ticket nazis .... in my opinion the best place for a supporters group is somewhere near the halfway line so that however much of the game has passed you still get to see and cheer/jeer both teams. The only reason i don't find it too bad at the moment is because when the teams are mainly at the south end we havethe RCB there and when they're mainly at the north we have the loyalists. That's the good part o havng split supporters groups. I would hate for us all to go together behind one goal so that we get the "one voice" effect and then whenever the play foes to the other end of the pitch onbody would be able to hear us.

As for drums:
I think most of the time we have enough drums. In my opinoin 3 is about all we need. Its nce that they make lots of noise but they also drown out a lot of the chanting at times. Next time you're at one of the games make not to listen to one of the chants with drums and one of the chants without. When the drums aren't playing the words become a lot more clear and often seem louder.

We've got plenty of drums. It is VOICES we need the most.

That's my fault, too. Somewhat.

My daughter and some other Mini Loyalists will sometimes sit down to color during the game. Or even if they are standing up and waving flags, you can't see them behind the adults and it looks like an empty row on TV.

Okay, so I'm going to try and implement the flyer idea this Saturday. Here's the text I've worked up so far:
Quote:
Come & Cheer with Us

The Loyalists invite you to come to SECTION 32 and join the fun.
Our goal is to band together to give Real Salt Lake a united voice of support. We want our team to have the home field advantage.
We stand and sing songs for RSL (they're easy to learn, you already know most of the tunes), wave flags (there's a lot of them available, come over and grab one), and do anything else we can to support the team. (have an idea? Bring it! Do it!)
Everyone is welcome, our section is General Admission, just find a space and occupy it.

Help us cheer RSL on to the playoffs and the MLS Cup!!

Our section is Family Friendly (Like to swear at opposing players? The RCB sits in E38, and they love to do that too! Go join their fun!)

Anyone have any suggestions to improve it?

The FO isn't going to allow "general admission" from other sections are they? The best way to get someone angry at the Loyalists is to invite them over to get in trouble. Just curious??

I'm going to hand them out only to people in the neighboring sections, where the seats cost the same or more. That way, they'll have nothing to complain about. That would be okay wouldn't it? They said last year that our section was GA for anyone who pays equal or greater ticket price. Have they gone back on that statement?

I guess I can wait until next home game. I'll get confirmation that it's okay from Glenn.

Awesome, Merrill. I think that logic makes plenty of sense. I hope you can get it going tomorrow night to have a good RMC crowd making noise.

As I was sitting in E37 last Wednesday, it felt so wrong. So I think I'm going to eat my words and make my way to E32 tomorrow night where I can stand and scream and mock the other team without people staring at me in shock. Awesome!

Can't wait to see all of you there! Woohoo!
