Does anyone know when I can get individual game tickets? Are the north goal tickets all sold out? I can't believe they will be so exspensive. They are just hoping that everyone will give that much money just to go watch Madrid play, even though they don't even like futbol.

Real Madrid to sign everyone

Wouldn’t it be a much better idea for all the candidates for the Real Madrid presidency to form a coalition rather than compete against each other?

That way they can sign Reyes, Joaquin, Cesc Fabregas, Adriano, Cristiano Ronaldo, Ricardo Carvalho, Ashely Cole, Mahamadou Diarra and every other player in Europe and they can be coached by a quartet of managers as Arsene Wenger, Sven Goran Eriksson, Carlo Ancelotti and Fabio Capello take it in turns to pick the team.

The only thing you can say with any certainty is that you shouldn’t believe a word any of them say until such time as they get elected.

Then you might choose to believe 5%.

You can now get Real Madrid tickets if you purchase tickets to two other RSL games.

It does look like though that the North Goal is sold out. (I imagine those were the first ones to sell out.)

This will be either a brilliant move or a real blunder (I'm speaking of the 2 extra tickets thing here).

On the one hand I think that over the last 1.5 seasons RSL has done a pretty good job of keeping some value to their tickets. Sure, there have been promotions and youth soccer give-aways, but it is much worse with many other teams.

However, I know that after the RM match we will be seeing RSL tix on ebay for $1 as all those people who wanted to come just to see RM try to unload their extra 2 game tickets for whatever they can. I already know a bunch of people planning on doing exactly that. Do we want to be the team that has $1 tix on Ebay? It will help our attendance numbers greatly though (because they will report on tix sold not butts in seats), and that might help with the county in the stadium thing (or look shady to the county...who knows?)

So it is either brilliant or foolish, or both.

What about those who will go to the extra game(s)? We have the potential of drawing in more casual fans that way, don't you think?

Fabio Capello has been confirmed as the new coach of Real Madrid

I guess this means Eriksson is still available. Could we entice him to come to the U.S.?

Beckham stepped down as England Captain on Sunday...
England have a friendly against Greece on August 12th

He is sidelined for six weeks with knee and ankle injuries

Chances are that Beckham will not be coming for this one...

Quote:

His injuries make him doubtful for England's next game -- a friendly against European champions Greece on August 12. Beckham's club Real Madrid play a friendly on the same day against MLS side Real Salt Lake in the United States.
