I have a small grill I can donate on a "long term loan" and a cooler.

Ditto.

Perhaps we can make these grills available to those who want to grill on their own rather than having the main grill tied up by others.

Sounds good. We'll really have to see what kind of participation we have on Saturday and then make adjustments for future games. We're trying to make this Saturday's tailgate as good as possible but I'm sure we'll improve over the course of the season and evolve our tailgating experience into a thing of beauty.

The current thought is that we'll reserve the "haut cuisine" for the less mainstream games and stick with the standard fare for the big ones.

Proactively dumb question. Please Yellow Card me if this is mentioned elsewhere in this thread or another thread.

But this Pachanga is going to take place in the parking lot west of the stadium, right? Will we set up in that small grass area next to 5th South?

I am a Miniplan holder. Will I be able to park there? I can call the RSL & ask for sure. But maybe someone else on this list will know.

I'd also like to know if anyone with more experience hanging around that school would be able to give me some advice as to where to park (I don't have a permit)

Park in the parking lot on the west side of the City Centre building on 400 South and State and catch the trax at the Library on east side of the building and ride it up to the stadium.

City Centre parking lot is free parking on the weekends.

I think that is a good idea. Simple is good for the first game especially since we aren't really sure how many people are going to be showing up. I know I'm bringing 8 extra people with me for the first game and I'm sure that others are bringing extras too.

Yes. The grassy knoll in the West parking lot on the South side.
