Gypsy Kings (the Real Madrid connection)
Some crowd motivators like Blur, ACDC, Led Zepplin, or ZZ Top. I'm thinking of particular songs from these artists at this point.
Ummm... I'm trying to think of the songs I've heard played at European games.... we should throw some of those in too.

At Feyenoord matches, they play "I Will Survive" and all the Dutchies totally rock out. It's awesome. :D

So, let's get serious here. Are we going to have grills? Will we need to bring prepared dishes? Where? What time? Any way to keep food warm/drinks cold? Cost? Do those bringing food need to pay anything? I'm sure a lot of us will be in the company of non-members (casual fans), what will the grub cost them? Oh, yes, and music. Will there be any means of broadcasting my RSL tailgate party soundtrack (Loyal to the Royal)? Etc. We need to get these things clarified.

Stars,

I'm working on the details with dysko and Loyal1. We'll have finalized plans in the next day or so.

Here's the working draft (subject to change and approval):

We will have atleast one dedicated grill provided by one of our sponsors.

All food, soda, and eating accessories will be provided for a small fee to both Loyalists and friends. We are not able to actually "sell" food at RES so we will most likely solicit "donations" from friendlies and maintain a sign-up list of Loyalist participants and guests and collect the money from the Loyalist member at a later date.

I am striving to keep this fee as small as possible and, while I don't have definite figures to quote, I have done some homework already and the fee should be small.

I will have coolers full of drinks available to all paying participants. We won't be providing beer so BYOB.

As for someone wanting to tailgate with us but provide for themselves, I'll make the grill(s) available for Loyalist use, within reason.

The time has not been finalized but I imagine we'll start atleast 2 hours before kickoff.

I'll try to locate a portable stereo. If anyone has one that they would like to bring, please let me know. I'm not sure what access we'll have to power so assume we won't have any outlets. If nothing else, we have cars that we can play music from.

Like I said, this is just my working outline and hasn't been finalize so it is subject to change.
