I don't know this guy and don't feel like a vocabulary discussion, so back to the game itself: If you ignore the hideous first 10 or 15 minutes and last 10, the team proved that it can play and attack the goal.

I assume that E decided to start Sequeira since Stewart hadn't really had a chance to play with the team yet, but I would have liked to see Stewart come in once it was clear that Sequeira wasn't very sharp or confident. It definitely would have been a better sub than taking out two of the game's best performers.

Garlick didn't injur anyone, and can't entirely be blamed for any of the goals.(that free kick that he wasn't paying attention to didn't go in anyway),

Regarding Trey:

We have a Lion (Leo), a Dorothy (Jamie and his ruby slippers). Trey is the... wait for it... Munchkin.

Still to be cast in the RSL Wizard of Oz:
Tin Man
Scarecrow
Wizard
Wicked Witch
Crazy Flying Monkeys

Garber would have to be the Wizard.

Jesse Marsch is not one of the league's 10 oldest players.

But he went around Novak & Sequeira and set up the 3rd oldest player in the league for a goal, at 4500 feet of altitude, in heat that would kill a Veracruz player, in injury time.

What's up with Watson on the bench? Is he in Ellinger's doghouse again? Probably not.. he knows to take the ball to the corner and kill the clock something Harris obviously has no clue about.

What will take to get the point across to the team.. you don't give up the lead with 5 minutes or less left.. basic soccer 101

Like everyone else, I was on eggshells watching the 12 minutes of stoppage time.

I am so disappointed. 🙁

Somehow I knew this would be the outcome when Ellinger started bunkering at about minute 75.

I didn't see the bunker affect until extra time - or maybe a little before.
