😠 Ellinger's fault

What in the heck was he doing subbing Harris for Cunningham when holding a lead in the final minutes? What about a midfielder or defender???? Not that Harris played badly, he did pretty well. Its just this: there were no points to gain by putting Harris in, we didn't need more offense and 3 points were in the bag. But, there were points to lose by that move, and it managed to happen! Defeat (the draw felt that way) snatched from the jaws of victory.

I will say this, however. If after being down 0-1 after 90 seconds I were told that RSL would manage a draw, I would have been happy to get it. I was proud of the team after about the 20th minute (when they started playing decently), particularly after they had fought back to a lead, and recovered it at 3-2.... I saw people throw their give-away hats onto the field, and I considered it myself (but I like the hat).

Everything about this team and the organization in general appears to be spinning wildly out of control.

goat goals in the 2nd and 94th minutes with a decent game sandwiched in between.

Again a goal surrendured in the dying minutes. Reminds me of the graphic earlier in the season that showed how RSL gave up goals shortly after scoring them. I'm sure they're related.

Harris should be fined for the stupid play to not kill the clock.

A goal and 2 assists for Razov! 2 assists for Jesse Marsch! Shouldn't these two castoffs be stinking it up like RSL? Bradley has righted that ship.

👎 Trey

Trey Fitzgerald, Real Salt Lake's Sr. Marketing Director - "Shut the f#ck up!"

Met this guy at an RSL function a few months ago. I hated him instantly. I felt he exuded seaminess.

I've met him also, and came away with a completely different opinion.

The exchange probably deserves its own thread.

What is "seaminess"?
