If Besagno plays, we can't sing "We all cheer for child labor laws" to Freddy.

(Thanks to Dan Loney for that one.)

Not that we can Run Smack on other people's stadium situations, but we have to break off with a "You're going home to a baseball stadium" a few times.

Very nice effort and great hustle by a lot of RSL players out there tonight.

All in all a very strange week. 3 games in a row with the result being decide in the closing seconds.

2 PKs in stoppage may look generous on the scoresheet, but I thought both were pretty legitimate (certainly the first one when Mehdi was brought down) Interestingly the DCU goal appeared to be offsides so I guess the calls go both ways sometimes.

Happy to be on the plus side of the scoreline for a change.

RSL orgasm!
There were so many things to be excited about. I loved seeing the captains armband on Talley. the guy has spark. if i had to pick a man of the match i would choose the 12 man: the awesome crowd in the last 10+ minutes. The roof was coming off the house! I have never seen the whole stadium get up like that, and and it kept going and going and going. It was incredible. I didn't even know when the game ended because i couldn't hear the whistle. Best game ever!

DC United: Postgame *or* RSL Wins, Ellinger Speaks!

Join Brian Dunseth and Spencer Checketts as they celebrate RSL's 2-1 home win over league powerhouse DC United. As usual lots of fan phone calls. Not so usual: Ellinger makes an appearance on the show.

I would like to apologize in advance for the poorer-than-normal audio quality and for the first 5 minutes or so of the show being forever lost to my HARD DRIVE OF DEATH. With that said...
