Not to be a total kill joy... I mean I am all into gloom and doom as well but I do remember that Checketts has said all along that he has the means to build it privately... so maybe he will get some huge tax breaks in Sandy or somewhere else...
I am sure Utah County would fall all over itself to have an MLS stadium...
Wouldn't that just thumb the nose at Salt lake County...
I think I would laugh all the way to every game... and i hate going to the bubble!

LOL I think I have a long way to go before I start supporting the goats... if we have no team then I will just start supporting DC United again.

But I don't think this is over by a long way!

My suggestions:

1) short term...take advantage of the Wilson proposal for $2.5 million to help RSL next year at RES...(I know it was voted down, but that was before Sandy was voted down)...see if can get additional concessions from the U re using RES.

2) long term...let Uncle Dave figure out whether he can get private capital to back a stadium at Fairgrounds with/without a hotel...

3) immediately...fire Howes and Love Communication..biggest clusterf#$% of pr work ever seen.
