I think the tax flow from Real Madrid shouldn't go to the county, those idiots.

Obviously I heard what I heard...

Decker said and I quote "The backers of Real are very angry and said that they are done dealing with Salt Lake County..."

He then went on to talk about the reaction from Dolan (why would he talk about backers and then talk about Dolan seperately) and that RSL had no comment.

I was not even referring to any RSL comment!

But I don't think it really matters...

I think RSL should go to Davis or Utah County... maybe even tooele county as a last resort...

Then again maybe Park City will fund the infrastructure!

Does anybody here think a stadium outside of Salt Lake County (especially Utah County for pete's sake) would be viable? I can see how Thanksgiving Point might almost, strangely, barely work.... okay, no I can't.

So what does RSL do with the land they've purchased if they decide not to build there? Or does Uncle Dave just decide to invest all of the money personally?

Aerick, I love the way you think! 😍

Real Heber!

😲

I am leaning toward anywhere but Salt lake County... I want RSL to be able to gloat in a few years when they are doing phenomenally well and SL County does not get squat!

But that Broadway style theatre is way awesome and only loses 2 million a year because most broadway shows around today would not meet the strict criteria and censorship rules placed on it by the state...
But i am sure that Hello Dolly and Oklahoma will go over a treat for the first year... after that ... anything LHM wants... which i am sure will be grand!

That would be great but I think all the swamp and oil refineries might put people off!

But it is the right kind of thinking...

North Salt Lake would be alright, but that's getting to the nether regions of my willingness to travel, and makes season tix a no-no (at least while I live in "un"happy valley). As for Davis county residents..... 😉 hehehehe

Utah County would never work. The team would have to become the Provo Templars or something (Alpine United? Highland Highlanders?). Utah County is out of the question. Bummer, too. I live there (ouch, double bummer!).

As for RSL's land in Sandy, that could probably be sold easily to those looking to turn Sandy into the "new downtown". I still can't believe that Salt Lake County just gave $100+ million (Maybe $600+ million!!!) in private investment the finger. Unbelievable.
