Welcome nojoke, nice to have another long-distance fan. Who is your nephew?

Yes I am. Jamie is a joy to watch on the pitch and for those who have not seen him, you're in for a treat.

He's also a good kid off the field in spite of what "others" may say on Big Soccer.

I knew Jamie was from Dallas so I assumed that he was yours 🙂
You should be proud of him. I knew some of his UNC teammates when they played here on Orlando's PDL team. Jamie was one of the players that I heard was going places. Why does Jamie get a bad rap about his attitude? I thought he was very poised when FSW was interviewing him. Was there an incident?

Anyway, glad your here and Jamie is in SLC!!! :D

I think the bad rap comes from his play. He talks trash to the opponents and draws yellow cards. He's very competitive and get's into the heads of the opposition. All of his coaches like him (except maybe one) and teammates too.
Ellinger loves him and Jamie is very excited to be at RSL.

My dad always said that if you don't get a yellow card, you're not playing hard enough.

Unless you happen to be Dema Kovalenko, of course... 😉

The MLS Cup final is in FCD's shiny new stadium, right?

Nojoke, can you bring the grill for the tailgate party?

RSL will be there!

Nick, 27, Springville

I play soccer recreationally (anyone interested in playing Saturday mornings starting in April-ish in Springville let me know -- lots of fun last year), and have been a French soccer league fan for quite some time (specifically Bordeaux, as well as the Nat. team). In fact, all of my Internet passwords are Bordeaux soccer related. Although my wife balked at the idea of naming our last son "Lilian", in honor of Bdx. forward Lilian Laslandes.

Planning on attending at least 8 RSL matches this season. Goal is to get the family excited enough about it to be able to be a season ticket holder next season.

I decided it was time to make an account on this forum to keep an montgjules in check.
