However, I am sure that after I bring them along to some of the RSL activities, and after they have regularl visits with some of the other RSL fans, they will realize that RSL is the true team, and will surely want to partake of the wonderous joy that comes with being a diehard RSL fan. </removes tongue from cheek>

See you on the pitch!

hahaha great intro Terry. Welcome to the fold :D

Greetings from Boise, Idaho

My name is Brian and I am a sports addict. My first love is soccer but my passion is Boise State, hence the user name.
I lived in England until the second grade so soccer was the first sport that ever caught my eye. I played in soccer leagues until my old bones wouldn't let me anymore. (I'm 35 but my joints feel 50.)
I was stationed in Colorado so I adopted a lot of those teams and I kind of folowed the Rapids but they never grew on me. Besides, when they wouldn't allow a player (Pablo Mastroeni) join the national team for a prep for a qualification game, then I wrote them completely off. Besides who wants to watch a team that averages .8 points a game. This new rivalry will work out well for me.
Boise isn't too far from Salt Lake so I was hoping they would get the expansion team. My wife and 2 children will be making at least one trip a year there, hopefully more.

Intro

Allow myself to introduce myself. My name is Jason and I'm from Ogden. I'm a recently paid member of the Loyalists and my wife and I are season ticket-holders (Northenders). I've been a MLS fan for a few years now and am a reformed CRapids fan. I'm VERY excited about the upcoming season and look forward to meeting you all.

I am yet another Scott. I have a wife and two kids whom I am unable to convert to soccer. Although my 15 year old son wants to tag along to watch Freddy and my 13 year old daughter and her friends think Niko is cute and may be converted. The name is from my email address so my students can find me, yes I teach. I started watching soccer with late night replays of the 86 World Cup and started watching USMNT games whenever I could get them. I like the game now partly because I see so many similarities with basketball, I'm a coach. I was a passive MLS fan until after I got hooked on the EPL on Fox Sports World. April 16th will be my first game ever. I will be officially joining the Loyalists on the 19th with cash in hand.

👍

Hey MrStucki, welcome to the forum and to the Loyalists. You will find we are the tamest hooligans you ever met (G-rated all the way). We will have a great time supporting our team and look forward you your added voice. If you have a drum, that will be good, too. If you attended the BLiTZZ games, you will recognize the Drum Section, at least.
