Sorry, I couldn't help myself.

I could call Glenn (novel idea). 😉
Unless we hear from him by 2pm, I'll give him a call.
By the way, Mutiny is a stupid nickname for a team, unless they are based on Pitcairn Island.

For risk of going completely off-topic, the Mutiny refers to the local Pirate culture that permeated the Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean in the 1600s.
Why do you think the NFL team in Tampa is called the Buccaneers?

I wasn't aware of a presence in Florida, although I guess that doesn't surprise me.

I'm excited to see things moving in the right direction. I'll snag the ideas I proposed in the other threads and email them to Jules. It's unfortunate, however, that we can't send out official email notification to other Loyalists asking for their ideas as well without the blessing of Glenn. It seems like a catch 22. We can't help relieve Glenn of some of his workload because he's so busy working that he can't authorize it. :P

I hate to alienate non-forum/non-watch party Loyalists from being able to submit their ideas, but at least we'll be able to include them in the nominations, and elections via email - hopefully, eh?

I think that most of this meeting tomorrow will not...err...should not include the minutae of most of the ideas that have been suggested or could be suggested. The meeting should mainly be for setting up committees, who would be in charge of implementing or discarding the ideas that have been proposed.

It might be a good idea to give everybody an overview of the ideas that have been proposed, and maybe assign them to a certain committee, but if we spend our time discussing each and every idea, we will need to start at about 1pm to be done before the game starts.

Sorry I haven’t been following this discussion as closely as I would like to. What time does all this start. I would like to be there, and I get off work at 6:00.

No, Mutiny is a stupid name for a team because it is a crappy concept name. Similar to the Burn (RIP) the Revolution (should RIP), the Fusion (RIP). We've mostly gotten rid of those names now, though, and the league is so much the better for it. When I first started my fandom of MLS, the year after the Mutiny and Fusion were contracted, in my callous heart all I could think was, at least they got rid of two poorly named teams.

Now back to the subject.

Duece was saying 5:30 earlier in the thread, but I think that's a little too early. I was thinking more like 6:30
