But I have seen it go over board.

So back to the newsletter. Jules, are you going to include the committee info in there? Do we need approval still from Glenn and the Executive branch still?

We will need ultimate approval from them, but we can talk about stuff.

Yes, the newsletter is for officially approved information. The meeting/committees/other stuff will not go in unless it gets Glenn's blessing. I only consider Glenn authoritative on this matter.

Jules, I PM'd some ideas to you last night. I think those need to be brought up.

Okay, as the unofficial scribe and official press officer, here is what I WILL do. I will consolidate all "ideas" and "agenda items" together and make an agenda. Please PM me all your ideas, or email them to . Now is the time to make your voice known. Do not assume that just because it was on a thread two months ago, I will remember it. I WON'T. So email it to me or PM me. (Email preferred) I will put it all together and (1) present it to Glenn for consideration, and (2) consolidate for a Loyalists meeting. It will be available before the meeting for discussion and perusal. It will be emailed to all paying Loyalists for whom we have an email address, subject to Glenn's approval.

Here's what I will NOT do:
I will not make this a mutiny and I will not move forward any further than collecting ideas without the blessing of Glenn. He is the president and only his word will be authoritative enough for actually implementing ideas.

I don't think anyone is interested in a mutiny. Technically an officer would have to be involved for it to be a mutiny.

See it more like the role of the monks in the Catholic Reformation.

Dysko said he was coming to the meeting. Does that make it a mutiny?

Or does he count as good or nearly as good as glenn?

There's a question, does anyone know what Glenn does as president, and what Dave does as VP? I wonder how duties are divided up and stuff. would this be in the charter or whatever it is? I could read that at theloyalists.com right?

Uhh, it might be late for me to post this, but I'm pretty sure I'll be bringing my wife and children (8, 6, 0) with me to Iggy's this Saturday. They're always good about acting as playmates for other kids too.

I'm excited to see things moving in the right direction. I'll snag the ideas I proposed in the other threads and email them to Jules. It's unfortunate, however, that we can't send out official email notification to other Loyalists asking for their ideas as well without the blessing of Glenn. It seems like a catch 22. We can't help relieve Glenn of some of his workload because he's so busy working that he can't authorize it. :P

I hate to alienate non-forum/non-watch party Loyalists from being able to submit their ideas, but at least we'll be able to include them in the nominations, and elections via email - hopefully, eh?

All this talk of Mutiny is just silly. The Mutiny left Tampa years ago.

anyway... there is nothing wrong with people getting together and discussing things. The Leadership is being invited... it is not secretive... and I can certainly assure you that I will not let anyone set the prez adrift in a dingy!

Seriously tho... no one is advocating anything more than discussion.

My poor old Mutiny, dragged thru the sewers...
Sorry, I couldn't help myself.

I could call Glenn (novel idea). 😉
Unless we hear from him by 2pm, I'll give him a call.
