RSL does not have the worst defense in the hemisphere.

That honor would fall to Costa Rica, whose defense gave up 3 howlers against Honduras and lost 3-2.

KC, what happened? I did not get to see the whole game. But Mexico's defense looked like they met on the plane to Houston. 2-1 to Colombia. Colombia could have had more with a lenient assistant ref. I guess Borgetti is not over the hill after all.

Panama beats South Africa on penalty kicks. One day, not soon, but eventually, Panama will knock the US out of World Cup qualifying in baseball and soccer.

Yeah, but we'll still get them in hockey!

Panama can be good, but I doubt they can sustain it. Not the way a huge country like the USA can once we set the bar high. But they did well today, and who'd have thought the GC quarterfinals would be USA-Honduras and Panama-Colombia?

I didn't watch the game either, I was on my way to Acapulco, but I saw the highlights, and well... Mexico did look kinda confused on the field :gunsani: now I truly believe USA will win the cup (not that I thought they didn't have any chance before).but, I mean, what were the defense thinking? yeah, they met 2 hours before the match! LOL

YES!!! Borgetti IS GOING to Bolton, I think is good for Mexican soccer, to start getting players out of the mexican league.

uhm... talking about getting new players Chivas USA is getting a couple of interesting players. like Palencia who didn't want to leave, but the team ddn't give him any options...
So long Palencia!

Watched the second half of Mexico-Colombia. Remarkable winning goal by Colombia (player?) who lobbed in a shot that caught the goalie off his line and dipped just under the crossbar.

Been following the in-game thread on the Big Board

Horrible giveaway by Pope in the first minute nearly gave away a goal. He went down hard a few minutes later, was replaced by Hedjuk in 15th minute.

US down near the half 1-0. Completely pro-Honduras crowd.

Hoping we can turn it around in the second half.

Back, but injured...not exactly how we would like him back.
