That and we got sick of it during the pep rally.

That is all that needed to be said but look at me... then scoff... then completely ignore me... that is very difficult... even for me... to misinterpret

It happened because you lot made it happen... people were very supportive to your cause until the exclusionism from you guys started.

Please elaborate either in this thread or PM me with the instances that you are referring to and I will be happy read them and explain..
I have had no dealings with gohertha to my klnowlege.
The instances of which I speak are the continued back-handed comments, taking jabs at people, being difficult and argumentative at every possible moment, that might kill a topic or thread. actively siding with people that disagreed with a certain few, which really looked like recryuiting to evryone else.

I am not extending it for everyone else... I am extending it for me and only me. If you choose not to accept that is fine. But I can say that nothing has transpired between us personally that would prevent you from accepting it... should you choose to.

I am trying to be as diplomatic about this as possible. I'm not sure why this is such a big deal. Again, the web site is down because WE ARE NOT READY to break off.
It was a big deal because of the exclusionism and petty jr high school antics and tactics.

I personally don't like the "all we are saying..." chant at all. It seems very demanding to me.
It is very demanding. We hold our team to high standards, even if we shouldn't quite yet.

I'll start.

Some of us don't really like some of the songs we sing. My solution has been to just sing them anyway, and try to start other ones when I can. Another solution would be to take those out of our reportoir. Any comments?
I'll join in Czar! Like your new avatar by the way.

I don't mind the primary songs or nursery rhyme based songs on the basis that familiar tunes or rythyms may promote more non-supporters-group-fans to join in when they know the words. Personally, I wouldn't mind ditching them now or in the future for more hardcore (but still PG - and maybe one or two PG-13) chants or songs.

Perhaps this should be a new thread though.

Yeah maybe we should start a new thread, but maybe not considering this is one of the roots of what is happeneing here. If we need a new one, we can start it.

Here's some pros and cons to the nursery rhyme-style chants

Pros:

-Familiar tune allows more to join in
-Depending on words, won't offend children or parents

Cons:

-They can seem too cute
-They do not intimidate the opponents

Does that sound right?

That sounds good, except that no chant will be intimidating based only on the melody, except maybe the Imperial March.

Cavaliers

I find the new supporters group very amusing. I don't know how in the world they believe they'll get the same backing from the team or the fans at this point in the season. If they can be reconcilled I'd vote for that...'cause if I ever have to go to their site again for any reason I think I'll hang myself.
