Based on Czar's "investigative reporting" (), it seems to me to be pretty clear what the plan is. HOWEVER, that doesn't mean the plan has to be carried out!!

Issue 1:
Creative Differences - It appears that the members of RCB have a different opinion of what chants should/shouldn't be used.

Solution - Creative differences are allright to have in any group. The best thing to do is get them out in the open, and discuss them and hopefully come to a compromise. If some don't like some of the chants, let's talk about it, and come to a compromise. Czar is a great example of this. He mentioned that he doesn't particularly enjoy all of the primary songs we do. That's a start.

Issue 2:
Forums "Censorship" - This can't seriously be considered a RCB vs. Loyalists issue due to the fact that, as far as I know, Glenn has never advocated, or advised any type of censorship on particular members of the Loyalists as an official Loyalist action. What happened with that had less to do with the Loyalists as a group and more to do with individual disagreements.

Solution - This doesn't NEED a solution, because it shouldn't even be an issue. This has been mentioned by Czar before, but we're all different people, and may have disagreements with each other from time to time - that's just a natural part of belonging to a group. This is exacerbated by the fact that we're using a far from perfect medium to communicate, and that some people pay more attention to their ego than others. This should absolutely NOT be a reason for a schism in a group that relies on unity to be effective. In fact, and I hope this doesn't come across too harshly, it seems childish to me. Jules had a quote from another thread: "Drama: we either have it, or we create it". Perhaps that's what's happened here.

If there are other issues out there, I'm unaware of what they are, but I seriously doubt they're unresolvable. We have so much to gain by coming to terms with each other and too much to lose to not. We may yet find some way of co-existing separately, but to try and do so would give-up the ultimate prize, in my opinion - and that is a united RSL fan-based community that is LITERALLY the best in the league.

Aerick is on to some good ideas here. Can't we come to an amicable agreement?

So let's start from here: The Loyalists want a PG rated group, and The RCB want a PG-13 group. Okay, cool. So let's work together on it all and figure out a way to help each other out, maybe we can all compromise on some things, or maybe we can agree to be completely separate groups. Either way, there should be a good feeling between the two groups, don't you think? Let's work towards that now, instead of causing more problems (which I am guilty of, and I continue to apologize for)

I agree totally with Jake on this.

I have made it clear to each of you that none opf this was personal... I even extended amn olive branch to Ska..
I invited all of the brothers Enger to join in the conversation and have cookies before the last match...
When you saw it was me, you scoffed and walked off completely ignoring me.

Neil gave you a forum here as a sign of good faith and to promote fairness and openness...

I have made it abundantly clear that I wanted to put it all behind us but you all kept it going...

I still extend that olive branch to all of you..

The truly pathetic thing is that we have all pretty much been sidetracked by this issue. We are all talking about this instead of the team.

To repeat what I have said repeatedly (and got negative repped for) this is supposed to be about the team, not the Loyalists, not RCB the team.

I think many of have temporarily lost sight of this.

I posted this in the other RCB forum:

How about a meeting between the two groups? Is there any chance of negotiations?

I complained because you guys were acting like pouting children by saying things like "better not mention rep or you'll get in trouble" every single time the word came up. It was silly. The whole rep thing was silly. And I'm amazed that it has come to this over something as ridiculously stupid as rep. If you guys had just let the whole thing drop and moved on, nothing would have ever been said, but you didn't and I complained. I don't know who else did, but I'll admit that I was one of them.

Now, can we please just admit that we all had a part in this? I'll gladly admit that I've been a big contributor to the whole thing and publically apologize to all involved (and even those not involved) for my part in the whole thing. I don't like conflict or bad feelings. I try not to carry grudges at all. If we can clear this up, I'll gladly sing and cheer next to you guys for the next game as I have for all of the other games. That's really all I want. Can we please just all say were sorry, forget this ever happened, and move on from here?

That's the best suggestion I've read so far.

Folks, we will develop into new groups. It's bound to happen. Different styles and tone, but the same aim--support RSL.

Let's figure out how to work together so that we complement each other.

It works in Chicago's Section 8, where the whole really is greater than the sum of the parts.

The other pathetic thing is that it hasn't had anything to do with games. All of this started as a pissing contest on the forum.

By the way which of the chants that we do are based on nursery rhymes?

I'm sorry that you took it like that. We had to meet people early so that we could practice our hymn, and we were already late.

While we appreciate it and think that this is admirable, we did not ask for it. We had discussed asking Neil for our own forum, but we knew that something like this was going to happen.

I'm not sure how to respond to that. While I admit that one of us (goertha) needs to polish his communication skills (but he has the kind of raw energy that we are all about), I don't agree that we "kept it all going." Please elaborate either in this thread or PM me with the instances that you are referring to and I will be happy read them and explain.

Thanks, but I hope you'll understand my point of view when I feel that the tone of many of the posts here (not all by you) suggest otherwise.

I am trying to be as diplomatic about this as possible. I'm not sure why this is such a big deal. Again, the web site is down because WE ARE NOT READY to break off.
