We used to have some nasty Flame Wars Back In The Day.

Should we boo Squarehead Hermosillo for going Half Speed? Or anyone who wears Juniper & Teal is automatically cheered?

Speaking of SoCal, what's up with my fellow Cal State Fullerton Titan Brian Dunseth? Will he be back on Wednesday?

How about "I scored into the North goal and all the Loyalists gave me was this lousy T Shirt."

As far as the players and team being so demoralized because the Loyalists show displeasure?...I dont think so. You know how they know we are behind them (bag on head or not)? Because we friggin show up every game. No matter what. I dont buy that they have such fragile ego's and confidence that a "Hey this is embarrasing, get it together" is going to collapse the team.

I think that we should give them a santa hat. I mean, how cool would that be? They may even wear it with pride for a split second after they score. Could you imagine if it was Watson? He'd wear it for sure.

Who wants to be the official representative of the fan club to give the lucky player the hat?

Also, these guys are getting paid really big money (approaching 400k or more in some cases), I think they can take it.

I sure don't think the team will be demoralized by anything we do. They may think a little differently about all the "outstanding support" they've been getting (re: fairweather) but they're pros and fan dissatisfaction is part of the game.

Even so, I'd rather not see us be so cliche as to go down that road. I'm with Prime on this. Having to put up with a bumpy ride while supporting an expansion team is not a good reason for going to the paper bag. Not so much for the players, but for our fellow fans. I just don't want a supporters group to be seen bagging on the team. Chicago was different--if they out-of-the-blue fire Pastorino, we'll talk.

It's an individual choice and free expression is everyone's right. If anyone asks me--and they haven't--I'd say find another way to send your message.

Do you think that we should do anything? or kind of just let it go by? Just curious.

I mentioned in another thread that we continously chant the "All we are saying, is give us a goal" chant until we score one. But mstucki indicated that we may get tired of it after awhile - I'm inclined to think that he may be right - but perhaps something along those lines?

LOL! I hope not...I hope we score in the first 5 minutes. I know it would be tough, but woudn't that be great??? Even if we eventually lose the game, just to get an early goal would get such a huge monkey of the back, no?
