World Cup in Utah: 10 days and counting
http://real.saltlake.mlsnet.com/MLS/news/team_news.jsp?ymd=20050526&content_id=31153&vkey=pr_rsl&fext=.jsp&team=rsl

As the 10-day period counts down and with only 15,000 tickets remaining, time is running out to purchase available seats. Individual ticket prices are $25 for endlines, $36 for corners, $48 for sidelines and $68 for midfield. Individual game tickets can be purchased by logging onto www.utahtickets.com or by contacting the Ticket Office at (801) 581-UTIX (available Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. MT).

According to this there are and extra 5,000 tickets that KSL didn't know about. There is no way that this thing sells out if they have only sold 30,000 tikcets 🙁

I was told two weeks ago that they had sold more than 30k by the ticket sales manager. So I am guessing that the actuall # is somewhere closer to the KSL #. I mean I would hope they could sell a few tickets in a two week span.

I still think that this game will sell out.

Has anyone with any insider connections heard about any USMNT training sessions?

I'd really, really like to pull a Megastalker next week if I can. 🙂

I heard they will be training down at BYU. I'm not sure where down there, but that's what I heard.

If that's the case, I'll be sure to get down their daily with camera in hand.... if they'll let anyone in?

I sure would like to see those practice sessions down at the BY.
You'll recognize me when you see the bearded chap doing "We're not worthy!" chant every time they 'tap' the ball around.

The Radio From Hell Show on 96X has "lots" of Double Header tickets to give away.

Don't you know who I am?

Ticos practicing at Waterford.

La Nacion (free registration required) said that Costa Rica is practicing at the Waterford School.

Yesterday's 40-something temperatures in the morning seemed to have impressed them.

My sister saw the practices yesterday and talked to their press relations guy. They'll be scaling down to one practice per day now (4 or 4:30ish?) because the altitude doesn't seem to be bothering them at all. Dang!
