Thanks for going guys. Glad the vote went RSL's way, but man, for everything that the papers were saying up until Saturday, you would have thought this would have passed 8-1. That sure is a close vote.

Wilde... man what a boob. He pouted the whole time. Listen Wilde, it's politics. It isn't pretty. You signed up for it when you were voted in. It's not pretty, but who said it was going to be.

Oh, and here's your kleenex you freaking whining boob.

The second one (using a false name) essentially called the first poster a liar, gave NO damned counter argument at all and whines about TRAX funding. (Team receiving money from country in 2011 and 2015 which is a tiny fraction of what is needed for TRAX and commuter rail simply won't stop that worthy project from going through) That second argument of course got positive rating.

All these months of misinformation by the press (mostly the Trib) has the public so confused and most of them are convinced that any money whatsoever spent on soccer is wrong no matter what the conditions, or what the team will give back to the community directly and indirectly over time.

with Wilson, it was not issuing the bonds for 5 years. She wanted, in every plan, to see if soccer could make it.

as far as the comments go... even Poutass Wilde mentioned, "I don't believe in using taxpayer money for the stadium." Holy Hell! Did you just not listen to the last 2.5 hours of freaking meeting Sr. Wilde?

I really could have kicked him in the groin for that one.

Could they do that? How?

So here's my question for those in the know: Is there anything else out there that could derail this thing?

The have until 75 days before the election to get this on the ballot for '06. All they need are sigs (which they say they have).

LameAss Wilde tried to get this on the ballot last night and that's when tempers really flared. It was voted down of course (7-2 IIRC).

But the Tax payer association still has to Aug 22 or 27 to get this on the ballot.
