That's less than the total amount of private investment that the stadium project is going to bring to Salt Lake County...

I infomed someone rather rudely today where exactly the money was coming from. I'm sick and tired of people being misinformed. I'm seriouslly tempted to write up exactly what's going on with this deal and make about a million copies and post them everywhere from northern davis county to southern utah county. GRR! Stupid press and dumb FO for not informing people...

Exactly. If the public voted on every damned issue, we wouldn't have stadiums, music venues, parks, transit system, public beaches, etc.

Just frustrating how people have made up their minds and simply don't pay attention when the true facts are out there. A few days ago, FOX13 ran a stadium story, and read 2 emails from viewers. Both against the stadium (so much for balance) One of the emails actually insisted they should stay at Rice-Eccles. Good lord how many times have the many reasons been presented stating why RSL staying at RES won't work for the soccer team OR for Univ. of Utah.

I posted this before, I'll say it again...

If you want to have a referendum for the stadium, I motion we have a referendum for politician pay increases. There's tax money being used that we never seem to mind for some reason.

On the bright side of that argument...we'd have no politicians either.

the Red Bulls Stadium design they have on there is old. Their new one is something that I would actually take over the design they've planned for us.
