Well I'll be damned.

Finally a couple of calls go our way. The second goal came off what could have easily been called back due to offsides. But I don't care, we were due for some calls in our favor.

Although close, I thought the line judge was correct in ruling that Talley was onsides.

I didn't think Talley was going to get the pass off on the 2nd goal. I'm sure JC is glad he did! :banMacara

I have to echo what was said earlier...so this is what it feels like to win...it feels like we have been living in a drought and finally got a little rain...so sweet!!! Please RSL keep it up!!! One more game and the supporters challenge game will actually have some excitement about the game and not just the free tail gate and discounted tickets.

I don't care who was missing who...I don't.
how fun was that.

being an RSL fan this year as made for some fun soccer watching.

we go up 1-0 and then get to sweat it out until they score, so obviously the game was in doubt until Cunny's goal, which made the match stressful up to that point and also made for jubilation for when they scored.

by the way, listening to Max (the PBP guy for the GaLazy) tonight, you would think that the entire LA team should have been called up to the world cup squad....sheesh.

I can't believe how well we played (after the first 10 minutes of course). WE CONTROLLED THE MIDDLE! WE DIDN"T PLAY LOB BALL! Man I'm happy.

But who cares? We win!

Donovan and Albright play and Galaxy get hammered 4-0 ... I don't think I'd turn down a half a dozen of the players on the field for LA tonight.

Just in a side note, how negative were the first 6 pages tonight? Holy crap, it was depressing to read everyone expecting a loss and doubting everyone in the line up. This is not the same team as last year and I don't really think of it as 'their' winless streak, it more felt like a winless streak for the fans, but this team, it was 5 games, not good, but still not as bad. Maybe that's just me being the optomist, maybe but I don't care because we won and now maybe we can all get back to being at least somewhat positive.

I'm with you Scholesy. I hope this game brings more optimism back. We saw some great stuff in this game. Good play from many of the younger players. I like Talley in the DM position. We have a lot to look forward to in Mehdi, Atiba, Forko... I still believe that Ellinger was brought to develop young players into a lasting team. We are at the beginning of that process and we're going to see a lot more wins before the season is over. We'll see some losses too, but as fans endure, this will be a fun team to watch.

Scholesy, keep us looking up. 👍

If anyone complains that Talley was offside during that second goal, please have them watch the replay. I've read two reports that say he might of been offsides. The defender calling him offside is who kept him onside.
