So, you usually curl your crosses away from your targets and to the wrong post for them to ever have a shot at getting to it?

The bomb is impressive, but the skill involved in dribbling and passing adds to the beauty of the goal. That is why most goal highlight reels start several moments before the goal with its build-up, etc.

I say that all goals should be judged against this one (first on page):

Here is another goal against which to judge others:

This Ibrahimovic goal is a fannydangling thing of beauty, made even better when you realize he did it all with his laces untied.

Another week without goal of the week. Either 1) There were much better goals or 2) They didn't want an RSL player winning again...or a combination of the two.

No goal was that great and they didn't want RSL winning with out good reason.

I must say TT's header was powerful! Enough to beat Ching out for the WC roster spot?

I'm sorry, but I don't see any of the last three RSL goals as goal of the week canidates.

I disagree...
I thought Jeff Cunningham's break away goal was much better than the De Rosario goal. That is without even considering that DeRo's goal was an obvious hand ball.

I thought that Jason Kreis' sliding shot on goal from the williams cross was better than half of the goals on the list for this week.

But that is just my opinion... of course

personally i thought kreis's goal was better than albright's. Sure albright's was a header which takes a little more skill, but the build up to kreis was better ... with the dummy etc.

i still don't see why they only let 5 goals in each week. What if you have 6, 7, 8 amazing goals in one week?
