How come we can never find these on MLS Gear? Whats the point in having a central place to buy your gear over the Web when they don't offer barely anything...

If anyone has pictures, please post.

Just went over to Crossroads Mall and looked at the Fanzz there.
I got the new design red shirt($16.99) it has the word Real above a small logo w/ the words Salt Lake in smaller block letters below the logo. Also the words trade and mark on the left and right of the logo, respectively. all of this is on the silhouette of a soccer ball w/ Major League soccer around the edge of the ball.

I also saw a grey hoodie($34.99) w/ the words 'Real Salt Lake Soccer' below a small logo. can't give a more descriptive account yet... I didn't buy it this time... next week it will be mine. One RSL item a week that is my limit!

They have all of the other shirt designs that have been mentioned on here previously. I will get the blue one in a few weeks.

NO HATS that I saw today... I have both the red and blue hat designs, but the guy did say they will be getting three brand new hat designs next week, and Jerseys in April.

The first major online soccer shop to carry Real Salt Lake gear that I have seen.
You can get the scarf from www.theonionbag.com or more specifically http://procart2.evocative.com/onionbag/topcat.jsp?category=MLS

Not much but it is a start!!!

I was told that while the date isn't 100% that Jerseys should be available by middle February, but perhaps as late as early March. April is probably part of that sales mentality of "under promise, over deliver."

As far as sightings go, last night on Hot Ticket 700 after ABC news at 10pm, they listed the announcement for the team as #10 of the "Local Sports News". Unfortunately, I didn't see a reference to their list on their website.

About the 22nd or 23rd Bill Riley (am700) was listing his top ten of the year. Then he ask for callers to list their top ten. I called, got on air, and said that for me, RSL was the biggest story. His reponse: "go have some more eggnog. I'm a soccer fan but..." I called back to apoligize for not agreeing with the host. Didn't make it on air that time.

Guess all news is local or something like that. I've followed most of the top ten from the Dnews but I'm a soccer fan, not a soccer fan butt.

Today on KJQ I heard the commercial again, and ALSO they did a game called "insanely easy question" or something where the contestant has to answer an insanely easy question. The question was "how fast are you driving right now?" The guy answered it and won:

2 TICKETS TO SEE REAL SALT LAKE!

Pretty cool, the guy sounded excited about it too. Now stop me if I'm wrong Dysko, but isn't KJQ and X96 owned by the same company as 1280 The Zone? Dysko is right - the smart money is on 1280 covering RSL.

Yes, they are all owned by Simmons Media...

If I were an odds maker, for radio I would say:
3-2 odds it goes to 1280...
7-1 HotTicket 700...
30-1 to 1320...
100-1 to 1160...
