it looks like the teams went from 28 to 32 players allowed.
Am I reading that correctly?
This is how I read it too and I read it a couple of times just to make sure.

P.S. I'm glad you and the rest of the guys made it to and from Dallas safe and sound.

So he's unemployed? Where does one go after this?

There is obviously still hope for him. MLS expands to a possible 14 teams in 2007. that means that 6 more GK's will be needed in the league in 2007.

There will also be retirements, european moves and drafts but he can get back in if he applies himself in the meantime.

He has talent... but he may just need to hone his skills for a year or two in the lower leagues...

We will see him again in MLS for sure.

No, unless I'm mistaken the 4 senior internationals are included in the 18 senior players. That was poorly worded on the MLS website.

Can't RSL just renegotiate his contract now?

I think I'm going to throw up. I'm crushed.

To what end? Would you want to go from 1st string keeper to 3rd string keeper? Would you apply yourself more or would you like to see what else is available?

I think he will find a job. He is very talented.

RSL will retain his rights for 12 months.

Obviously I am trying to look at the bright side and stay positive... I really liked DJ. He was a class act. I hope we see him again, soon, in a MLS jersey.
I will still cheer for him... just not when he is playing RSL 😉
