I thought it was pretty gutsy of those players to take the storm head on. i have to admit that when Cunningham came over and did some taunting my boold started to boil. I just turned my back to the field though. It made me crack a smile for sure though. I mean, there is some chutzpah.
I hope that we treated the rapids fans ok before and after the game. i know that being in denver i did not appreciate the treatment that we got. A little razzing is to be expected, but i know there were people looking to go bare knuckles which is something that i never want to happen to the soccer scene in the us. I mean, yeah be passionate, but who wants to have to deal with the nonsense that goes on in europe?

Or south america. How would we all love huge fences between us and the pitch?

When they're on the national team, I'll cheer for them. When they're the Crap's, wasting time looking for a garbage can on the farthest end of the pitch, i'll call them the sucks. Any time they're in an away jersey...they shouldn't be applauded, the should be herrassed!

Nat'l team Freddy: stud
DC Pooh'nited Freddy: homo (<- not that there's anything wrong with that).

you just seem to be falling all over yourself applauding our rivals. So be it. But you come off like a fence sitter more than a loyalist.

Side note: players that do stuff back to us, I love it. They get it, and it makes me want to moon them.

Don't ever say that again.

Fence sitter? I guess you weren't sitting very close to me at the game because if you had, you wouldn't question who I was cheering for.

There are two philosophies:

(1) Love the Freddys and Landons when they're on the national team and hate them all the rest of the time
(2) Hate the Freddys and Landons when they're playing against us and love them the rest of the time.

I don't give a hoot if people subscribe to philosophy (1) and it baffles me that people give me crap about my philosophy (#2) when they're so incredibly similar. I'm not falling over myself about anything. I'm just not backing down from stating my opinion. Now if you can come up with an intelligent, well thought-out reason that I should change my opinion, I'll consider that. Until then......
