Only problem with that is that Palomino was actually there last night 😛

Given everything leading up to last night's game, the loss in itself wasn't as dissapointing as the stuff being thrown onto the field. I can deal with losing as long as it's done with class.

He did, you would think that people based in the Phoenix area would look like they had actually seen the sun upon occasion.

He was the epitome of GEEK, DORK, NERD.

When he was pointed out to us. We began to change "MIT reject" which was then followed up by "I Hat Scrabble" Then every once in a while you would hear "Ass Clown".

I would have to say the loss was more dissapointing.

In defense of those "classless fans". Cunningham and company only escalted the issue by coming over to us and taunting us with the cup in hand.

I think it was the sort of thing that I'd laugh at if I saw it on America's Funniest Home Videos but at the time it seemed a sneak bully attack.

I was almost at his side when it happened; it was weird. I guess the message that was intended was received.

I imagine it'll make my next trip to a crapid game all that more interesting.

Interesting sub-topic in a thread where everyone seems to say the right things about RSL fans acting properly and the reputation we'll have.

As Joe Cannon put it: It was to stoke the passion of the Cup.

They play in a morgue and had fun in front of 14k on a weeknight.

When is taunting cool and when is it frowned upon?

Any taunting done on the field by players or fans IMHO is all good as long as it is left on the field. That's how I feel when I play and that's also how I approach the topic as a fan. We (section 37) gave Cunningham a whole rash of crap as he was waiting to check into the game and then kept it up the rest of the game right up until he walked off the field. He acknowledged our taunts several times and mouthed off right back at us. Then after he came out of the locker room on his way to the bus he stopped and chatted with us for a few minutes. They realize the taunting is all in good fun.

Oh yeah, If I ever catch anyone in section 37 throwing anything other than streamers and confetti on the field I'll replace the goat in my noose with your head.

LOL yeah he looked exactly like a rocket science. in fact after the match I was standing up top by the exit and he walked by with some more lame smack talk.
I just told him to "go split an atom Mr. Rocket Science" he just looked at me with those sad puppy dog eyes and walked off.

Ummm i think I hurt his feel bads....
