That would be very Cleatus. He gave the Thunder supporter a prime cheek grab at the USOC game. He at least kept the shorts on for that one. __________________

The word from RSL today is that he has not been traded... he is not away getting married... he has not been abducted by aliens annd he has not been dumped in a ditch. The word is "He is away on personal business". But I can't think of anything more personal than being abducted by aliens. There is no word on whether he will travel with the team or play in Dallas. The mystery continues... Mr. Marples is on the case!

He's away on personal business yet he seems to have time/freedom to hit the links. This line seems to be the answer in professional sports for, "management and player are not seeing eye-to-eye right now so we're taking some space." Paging Terrell Owens....

I still think aliens are more exciting.

This has been the most fun thread to read in a while. Good laughs.
So, he is 'away on personal business' huh? Can't wait to find out what the means. I think everybody needs some time to figure stuff out. Maybe that's what is going on. Who knows. Best of luck to him, whatever it is. On another thought... seeing as this has been a fairly active thread, I think that Mathis is one of the more interesting players on the team. Do any of us not show up to a game and wonder "What is Mathis going to be up to tonight..." Maybe it is the mystery, maybe (for some) its the frustration, maybe it is just fun to see what is next. Whatever it is, it is still at work. This thread proves it (to me). If they ever trade him or he ever leaves ( I know some of you are crossing your fingers) I think I'll miss those moments in the game when I say "What's Mathis going to do next?" Maybe I won't miss the "Oh, that is what he is going to do (or 'not do')' moments. 😉
