MIA Files: Clint Mathis

Ok we have speculated briefly about the where-abouts of one Clint "Cletus" Mathis. It has been pure speculation so far so let us look at the facts.

There are few...
1) Mathis has a temper.
2) Mathis has a history of not getting along with his coaches.
3) Mathis was at the Dream Keeper Foundation Golf Tourney on Monday.
4) Mathis has not been at any team practices this week.
5) Trades must be finalised this Week. Today in fact.
6) The entire response from RSL on the subject of Mathis is "No Comment!"

So let us discuss it here... I would like to know what ppl think is happening.
Does anyone that knows something want to speak up?

Well the deadline for the final roster freeze of the 2005 MLS season is in less than 2 hours.

I think some of our questions will be answered by then.

Ummm, just my 2 cents worth here, but I think that he may be suffering from PMS. Permanent Missing Syndrome. But, what do I know?

I just realized what happened to Mathis.
He got in a fight with Jeremiah Trotter on Monday night.

Trotter is like 300 lbs!

This is a good thing to hope for but I think that even if they finalize any details, they don't have to announce anything by then.

I hope that he is gone. He does not fit in to what ellinger is trying to accomplish. It is obvious. He is a cancer to the team. He is getting old, he is lazy. Heck we will have 446,000 to spend on someone else.
