We have no excuses for this game if those three Revs won't make the trip to Salt Lake. This is a gift from Bruce Arena to RSL. Too bad he didn't take Noonan too. __________________

Reis is on the list but will probably be released to help Revs out on Saturday.

There is almost a 99% chance Arena will release him to play with the Revs on Saturday. Also, Reis missed the Revs game last week for a red card, so he might be hungry to get back to the Revs so Warren doesn't do a "Reis to Brown" or a "Nolly to Countess" on him. 😉

or "Countess to Nolly" is good. 🙂

Nolly may lose the start from tonight's performance.
Or he will solidify his #1 spot over Countess for the rest of the season. But in this arguement, Countess is Brown and Nolly is Reis. Countess lost the job. Nolly really has nothing to lose. He's been riding the bench for 20 weeks.

Reis is an ogar that's out to hurt anyone that beats him. If you don't beleive me, just ask Alecko or Fabrice. I hope he doesn't play for the Revs this weekend.

Hmm, I don't think I agree here. Yes, Nolly wasn't great tonight, but I don't think that he played THAT badly. He had people running at him one on one all night long and did pretty well with that I thought. I just don't like to see them giving up so quickly on Nolly. Jay did some good things tonight and had some things to improve. I think he is improving though and that is why I would like to see him stay. I thought after getting beat near post against San Jose he protected the near post quite well tonight. He had a few good point blank saves although he did spill the third goal which wasn't great. I say give him a few more games with the first team and see if he continues to improve. I think that the playoffs are a VERY slim chance right now and I wouldn't mind seeing a bit of experimentation with Nolly.
