A MLS team wants to trade star player to RSL?

I posted the "count" 2 weeks ago.
Besides unless you know of someone being released that no one else does, then we are maxed at 28 players (excluding Sackett, Acosta, Dialo and maybe Tarley).

Don't hope for any big announcements soon, unless Scholesy knows something that Steve Pastorino doesn't... We talked to him today and he said there have been some calls being made, testing the waters with RSL regarding several players, including Josh Wolff and whatshisbucket from Chivas and one of the other people mentioned in this thread... Hrmm.. anyway, the cost to the team in trades, etc. is not worthwhile at this point, according to Pastorino.

However, the Tarley announcement will be made Monday. Oh and will there be roster changes between seasons? "Yes, because we don't want the results we've gotten this season."

Oh, "whatshisname from Chivas" being Sequeira, and "the guy from this thread" being Kirovski. I think that's what Pastorino mentioned, but I could be way off base. At any rate, it sounds like a no-go at this point anyhow.

Hmm, interesting, I hope the Sequeira deal doesn't go through ever. I could certainly deal with having the Wolff or Kirovski around, but I really just don't care for Sequeira and his attitude. He is a great player but not really one I would like to seem come to RSL. He is in the same bin as Ryan Suarez for me...good players that I don't ever want on my team.

Well I never said anyone had been signed, it's soccer and I have always said I will believe they are in the team the day they play a game in the team colours. On the other side, that would be a first if management showed all cards at a meet the team. Maybe he's keeping himself to himself, maybe not.

Maybe, maybe not. And maybe you DO know something Steve doesn't know, like how much Coach might want a certain player or be willing to do some things that Steve doesn't expect. Who knows? Anyway, Steve is usually very open and if he doesn't want to say something, he'll admit as much. I've never known him to deliberately mislead us.

Yeehaw! I can't wait to see what happens!

He said he hates sharing the spotlight with Hercules and wants to play with Kreis. 🙂 Actually, I talked with Pastorino a little yesterday and he said that they have been trying to get some players from Harbour View but so far Scarlett is the only one that they've been able to acquire. He didn't say anything about any MLS players coming to RSL, unless I missed something. Don't Wolff and Super Cleeeetus go way back? I wouldn't be shocked to hear the team was interested in him...

However, I would cry into my $6 Diet Coke if we signed Sequeira. Stupid Ronaldo wannabe.
