Here's my translation. There was one part I wasn't sure about:
Gustavo Cabrera increased his excitement upon finding out about his recently born son, Sebastian, after arriving last night to the country to join the National Selection. The defender, that plays in the Real Lake City of United States football, was received by his son Pablo Gustavo and his wife, Diana, who he hasn't seen in a month. Motivated Cabrera emphasized that he will incorporate the same motivation with the national team as always and come willing to compete in a noble and clean way to win a post on the team. He also manifested that he is content in having the opportunity to become part of the bicolor. In respect to his continuing to play with Real Lake City, he explained to the team that he (I'm not sure about this part) he had an injured ligament and he couldn't count on a work visa, but he had internal activity. "I feel well and willing to contribute", he said.

The last bit that you were unsure of basically explains that he was injured and then had to wait for his visa to come through [implying that this is why he hasn't played an official game yet, I presume] and that now he feels strong and excited to contribute since he has both his health and his visa. That's a paraphrase.

Hey I say Cabrera moves his family to SLC.
Certainly would help RSL sign him to a longer term deal. (whatever thats worth in MLS). I want him around for awhile.

Well, here's an update from the Municipal fansite again. As I stated earlier, RSL is going to get a lot more press in Central America now that Cabrera is here. I mean, how often would a Euro YA soccer player return to the US and have the press there waiting for him at the gate? Well, they have provided a nice little overview of his debut here:
http://www.rojomania.com/noticiasFrame.php?pgOtra=1&pg=Noticias¬icia_id=1123431 For those who do not read Spanish, it basically goes through some quotes from him about how this is his dream to play outside of Guatemala and he's honored to play as one of an elite group of Guate players in history and that he feels healthy finally after the knee injury. It then goes into a match report.

It's so frustrating that none of these reports are in German or Croatian. __________________
