A MLS team wants to trade star player to RSL?

From todays Desnews:
SEEKING ANOTHER: Even though RSL just added three new players, Ellinger wouldn't rule out the possibility of another before the MLS roster freeze deadline on Sept. 15.
"If we can find another player between now and the end of the season, we'll look into it," said Ellinger. "Other teams are still looking for players. I won't go into details, but we had a couple calls yesterday, one from a team trying to trade one of their better players at this stage of the season."
Ellinger said he was stunned by the development.

Guevara?

If Amado Guevara isn't a good pick, maybe its someone like Edson Buddle.

Also, Revs just signed mid/def Daniel Hernandez and he might push out Franchino, Cancela or Dorman for a starting spot. I wonder if one of them might be looking to be traded.

A another good question is: who would we trade for this unknown star?

Is Landon not happy in L.A.? Let's start some rumors here. 🙂

Landon might not be happy with Sampson or with Gals recent performances, but he definitely likes being in LA. No doubt.

I thought Guevara was unhappy with the league, not his team.

Although Clint returning to NY might make for some interesting speculation.

Landon did say that he very much enjoyed the festive atmosphere, both at the first Galaxy-RSL match in SL and also at the qualifier. Still, I'd very a bit surprised if he ends up being the mystery star. My reaction might be like this:

I would be surprised too, I think Guevara is more realistic. I'd also be happy with any of the starting 11 on the Revs. I'm not sure I'd want to trade Mathis away however. Maybe Mathis for Dempsy (Clint for Clint).

Weed need to keep our Clint. If he's traded, I'm going with him.

How DO you pronounce Romo in Brazil??? I just hope we get an attacking mid or a forward. Who are some of the better attacking mids and forwards in the league? I hope it's not Buddle. Didn't he fail a drug test or something?
