I wish Jamie would shut up.

He acts like he's the only player to have his jersey tugged on.

The bottom line is this: Jamie Watson's hit was unacceptable. But the referee should never have allowed the play to escalate to that level. He lost control of that game early on. It was a horribly officiated game, for both teams. I don't know what MLS has to do, but their level of officiating MUST improve. I can't count the number of handballs the ref missed tonight, on both teams. And the whistle seemed to be completely arbitrary as to when it blew for a foul. There was no rhyme or reason sometimes. Just my $0.02.

Watson's board check was wholly retaliatory and warranted a red card in my book. In the what it's worth catagory, the third goal was wholly bunk. Even if you disregard the fact that he totally fell into and took out the keeper, he literallly threw the ball into the goal with his hand. In no way should RSL's 3rd goal have been allowed.

Now I agree with yo that Jamies was a red card and told him so after the game, but when it comes to the third goal ... I am assuming that you were at a different game than the rest of Utah tonight. It was Bo Oshoniyi that pushed the ball over with his arm, the run in to the box and the players that fell in the process were all normal run of the mill footballing plays that happen when people get close up in the box, there were no fouls committed by RSL in that time frame. I watched the replay 14 times to see if there was an infraction and could see none, I even spoke to a few KC players who said the same thing '... tough break on that call man, should've been a goal, some are yours and some go the other way ...'. There is no question - it was a goal.

Right now I think about 3/4's of those types of calls have been going against us. :P

I agree. He seems to have forgotten that he is on the roster to run around and make plays instead of talk and earn red cards. I am thinking that it may be time for a spell with the reserves to clear his head.

Ohhh I don't think it's that serious, he will bridle his passion and his game will improve the more he plays; take away his fire and you don't have Jamie ... now should he learn to control his mouth a little more, yes, but then I can think of about 18 other playrs who are as bad.

I agree with you, but I think his act is wearing thin with the crappy MLS officials who won't give him any calls.

What can be done to improve the quality of officiating in the league? If we want to have one of the top leagues in the world, we must have better officials.

The red card was not for his talk but for checking the dude into the boards.

The ref missed some really important calls-- handball by KC defender in the box (intentionally played the ball with his arm) followed by incidental handball against Broome or someone on a decent breakaway that he did call. . . Taking away our third goal, then not giving Jason a PK for his concussion-header-collision in the box-- that would have made it 4-4 and given JK a hat trick.

Jamie is great, but what a stupid foul-- 4th minute of stoppage time, game lost, and now we have two players out on cards next game when we're trying to make a run for the playoffs. I think he gets a red card for being dumb. There is some strategy involved in controlling your temper so your team doesn't suffer-- hopefully Clint is figuring that one out as he writes that $5,000 check and cools his heels for yet another game.

Please let Eddie be OK!

Jason's goal was great, so was Cila's-- two of the better goals of the season not off set pieces.

I'm in section 35, but close enough.

Agree here as well. He needs to shut his trap before he becomes the new Mike Magee of the league. The constant "whining" does get a bit old. He needs to remember he is a rookie and he has to earn the respect of folks. Whining about stuff isn't going to help!
