Aerick made himself a name badge for the game on the 22nd, and now I know who he is. I didn't make one for myself though, and I bet he doesn't know who I am.

Snarf is the biker avatar guy! He is also the Fox 13 guy.

That was my wife's comment. She came with me to the Qualifier. When I put on my american flag bandana thing and then added the sunglasses, she told me I looked like a scary biker guy.

In reality I am no more than the photographer and someone once called me the "Loyalist entertainment director" but that is not me. I like to see things happen and i am very vocal about those things.
It does not mean I can make them happen anymore than any of you can.

I have been involved with the Rocky Mountain Cup and C10 more at the begining and in the past month or so but other people have contributed more than me and deserve to be recognised for it. They know who they are and i say Kudos to you all.

I have become very wrapped up in RSL and being a big part of all that is going on in their Inaugural Season.
Sometimes I rub people the wrong way. When I know I have done so I try to make amends(but I expect to be met half way on that)
It is not my intention to upset people but sometimes it happens.
I accept that I can not please everyone. Even tho that would be my wish.

Sorry I am getting away from my point.

That was that even tho I am very vocal and very passionate about RSL, even tho I am not perfect, I want to do what is right... and i want to let you all know that I am proud to be standing with all of you. and my real point is that I have no more say in the way things work inside of the Loyalists than any of you do... So get out there and make yourselves heard.

Viva RSL

We are the Loyalists. Even though Glenn and Dave are basically the cofounders, there would be no Loyalists without the rest of us. We all have a voice, we need to create a mechanism where it can be heard. The tailgates could be a time for that or watch parties, if more people came to both. Since not enough people do, for entirely valid reasons, we may just have to hold more meetings. Sorry Glenn, I'm not trying to make your life more hectic. Let's blame Jules for that. :D

Snarf, bring your wife and kids along and make the family outing for the week?

We are actually combining the watch party and my daughter's birthday dinner. That was her choice.

My kids are 5, 3, and 1. The atmosphere at an RSL game is barely enough to keep them interested. An Iggy's viewing party, I'm pretty sure wouldn't cut it. Besides, my one year old is a total hellion. Iggy's wouldn't invite us back after all the trouble she causes. And I wouldn't know what was going on in the meeting, because it would take both my wife and I just to keep track of her.

Good point, I'm so glad my kids are older.

If it makes you guys feel better, all this talk of meeting up to watch the game is making me very jealous and green with envy, regardless of the hurdles involved for you.
I hope it works out!

I will also be bringing my wife and kids (8 and 10) to the party.

And I just want to apologize to anyone that thinks I may be snobby, but the fact of the matter is that I'm not really all that great at approaching new people. It becomes even worse when I have a few people around me that I already know. I tend to stay in my comfort zone. I apologize if that comes across as stand-offish.

I usually have to force myself to talk to people that I don't know. I just want to let everyone know that if I'm ever sitting at a table with empty seats, feel free to come over and sit down with me no matter who you are.

And don't be afraid to say hello and I'll try and be better at doing the same. I'm usually lucky because my wife is very outgoing and takes care of that for me. When she isn't around, I struggle with it a lot more.
