Neil, Ethan or Eric, please close this thread before I elaborate.
There is nothing to forgive. People have a tendency to have differing opinions.

I am just saying that running away from this forum is not going to solve anything.

Okay, I'll try to make this clear once again:

In suggesting a new forum, I did not mean people would leave this one. At all. I'm saying there would be a forum with like one or two subforums (small, small, small) that would ONLY discuss the Loyalists business. It would not be something you'd check 75 times a day. It would just be an "official" meeting place where there would be no conflicts of interest. We could still discuss the Loyalists here and on BS just like now.

It would just create a neutral atmosphere here so we could ALL enjoy this place more. We wouldn't leave here. We would make this forum stronger.

Okay, I've said it already: I do not feel strongly enough about this to fight for it. I just want to make it clear that my intentions were not to take away from Neil or to run away or to make a new home for ourselves... just to have a sort of message board to post officially at so that anything here is neutral.

If people still don't understand my intentions, assume positive intent.

Are you suggesting something like the yahoo group effort that didn't work out?

That's probably true. However, I guess that's Neil's call.

That's true too, however, why do they not choose to use it anymore?

I don't think discussing 'Loyalist business' in a separate forum will help the RCB feel comfortable. Was that what they are really unhappy about, our 'official business discussions'?

They felt like they were being attacked. We have to stop that. I have been guilty too, but we need to remember that the only group that really matters is RSL.

No. I mean a forum like this on a very, very small scale. It would be approved by Loyal Leadership, not just something that somebody random builds and then says, "Hey everyone. This is the official place. No seriously. Come see my cool forum." It would be the official place started and maintained by the Loyalists. But it would not be a huge whoop-de-doo.

Isn't the Loyalist Insider that we get every so often that small, small subforum that posts only Loyalsit info?

I don't know, go ask them.

In reality, why are we so worried? Is it that people are sitting around wringing their hands in guilt? I seriously don't get why this can't be let go, give everybody time to cool off.

Good suggestion, I wish I had said something like that. Oh wait, I believe I did.
