Loyalists Forum

I think we owe it to Neil to create a "Loyalists" forum somewhere else, maybe on theloyalists.com or something. The RCBites seem continually offended by their perception that some people consider this forum a Loyalists forum. I don't personally, but I guess some people might.

So let's create an official place for the Loyalists to discuss Loyalists business. Announcements and info can be posted here and on BS, but we can have an official home of our own that will not be tied to a third party.

Neil's worked too hard on this forum for a Loyalists vs. other people attitude to tear it apart. I don't think another forum would take away popularity of this forum, it would just be a place for official business to be discussed.

Not trying to throw gasoline on the fire, but I do believe the other guys are posting on their own forum now.

I just visited their forum and that was what prompted my suggestion. They would probably feel more welcome here if the Loyalists had their own place to hang.

Let's see what Glenn thinks of the idea.

I'm spending 4 hours a day on this forum and now you're suggesting creating yet another one? 🙂

That doesn't sound like a bad idea. Although, if you think about it, we already do have our own forum here, as do RCB. Perhaps it's more of an education process and an attitude change than a relocation issue - for both groups.

We have a subforum here and a "Supporters Groups" subforum on BS. People have called our subforum here the official Loyalists forum, but I'm thinking that may not be in the best interests of this forum as a whole. If this entire forum ISN'T a Loyalists forum but a subforum IS the official Loyalists forum, there are bound to be more problems. Maybe I'm wrong.

I'm with Bordelais, I really don't want to check 2 or 3 forums every day, I'd rather have all the information here. I don't even go over to the RCB forum because this board keeps my busy enough, I really don't need more distractions. I think Neil should be the final say one whether or not another forum be created, but, of course, if someone wanted to start their own Loyalists forum nobody is stopping them. Just my 2 cents.

Like what? Aside from the attitude that appears to permeate this forum that it's a Loyalist forum - which I must admit was my attitude from the beginning.

My concern is that we attempt to "help" Neil by creating an environment for regular traffic to return to this forum by pushing other traffic away from the site. In essence we're giving and taking away at the same time. Not sure that's really helpful. What I think WOULD be helpful is to change the atmosphere and attitude. That way lost traffic returns and no traffic is lost.

Can you elaborate on the atmosphere and attitude of this board?
