Yes i do, and if i remember right Mathis made a run one time and got pissed off and started walking back, Fire played a ball to the man he was supposed to be defending and Watson had to come all the way back. Watson did end up winning the ball though. It seems like when Mathis is out there we are playing with 10-men on the field.

Yeah!

Tiger!

What's up with Tiger & Rojas? Did the West Indies beat Ellinger's favorite side at cricket?

Without his passes I'm not sure we would have even ever made it to the final third. To say that he could play harder may be correct, but to say he was terrible is just flat out wrong.
I agree. I was impressed with Mathis' play - though not the entire time.

Since I can't vote for the Goalpost for MotM it will have to go to DJ Countess.

Seems DJ is the most consistent of all our players.
Did anyone else think the mowhawk was hilarious??
That was great.

I wouldn't say he is that consistance he seems to fall asleep and let in some easy goals at times. Also on the first goal why was he on his knees before the shot and the second goal he was diving to the right before the shot so the guy just pushed it to the left corner. Countess is a good goalie but he also falls alseep some.

D.J. had some great saves. There was one that went past him and, luckily, hit the post. I don't think he saw that one until it was past him. But for the most part he's a great goalie. The defense should be giving him a break. He's working a lot harder than he needs to be. If our defense, other than Pope, would pick it up a notch, D.J. wouldn't have to work as hard. That being said, I do think our defense has picked it up, maybe not quite a notch, but this was evidenced in the LA game and Chicago game. RSL was in the game against Chicago until the very end when I think we just got tired. Bill Riley and Ray Hudson kept mentioning the humidity. Any of you that have ever been outside of Utah and have been to Chicago during the summer will know it's like walking into a bathroom right after someone has taken a shower. Now, imagine running for 90 minutes in that, it's got to take it's toll. Not that I'm making any excuses for RSL. My MOTM is D.J. Countess.

Yes he is a good goalie, that first goal Cutler let his man run free and have a point blank shot. I dont know why DJ dove to the right before the second shot giving the player an open left side of the net. I was just saying once in a while he makes mistakes also. The last Galaxy game we should have had 3-points... that shot went right in between his legs. Just saying he also hasn't been consistent. But what can you expect from us we are still learing to play together and we are a new franchise.
