All the athletes (and thus all the fans) wore official 2002 Olypics barets for the whole winter of 2002. Personally, I have no problem with the baret. I'm more excited about some sort of official Loyalist tee-shirt.

Hey guys, the other day I threw in a tape I have with some highlights of some Argentine games and saw something that could work.

The fans of River were waving their white T-shirts in the air while they sang and cheered. Now, I don't want to see any of you without your T-shirts on and I'm sure you don't want to see me. But if we all had a towel or bandana the same color we could waive them in the air as we all bounce and sing, "ole - ole ole ole ole, ole--ole"

Something like the Steelers' Terrible Towel.

Anyway, next meeting we have I could bring the tape in if you want to get an idea of what it would look like.

I'd love to see all of us with handheld-size flags of one color that we wave like crazy after goals or for celebrating other things.

before you do that, I have found several possibilities that might be better, if we all want to match. I found some very simple instructions. If we make our own, then we will have the choice of material and color. We may be able to get a better match on the color. 😎 I was thinking of making up some examples and presenting them at the next meeting (whenever that will be).:D Actually, my wife would be the one to make them. 😉

Aguante River!!!

River Plate was my first soccer love! I would recomend watching more tapes of Argentine football. Those fans know how to make a match!
