I just looked and it looks like neither one gives you local channels yet. I'll stick with my cable until the satellite companies start offering the local channels in HD too.

Besides, I have a bunch of TVs that would all need their own receiver and I would lose out on my discount on my cable internet. It looks like switching to satellite would cost me a lot more every month. I guess I'm stuck with cable for now.

So, everyone still needs to write Comcast and tell them to get HDNet now! ๐Ÿ™‚

Stick with Comcast. Not only are they a fairly cheap alternative, but they have excellent customer service and no unfriendly long-term contracts. You can sign up one day and cancel the next and they'll prorate your service. Plus, at least in my neighborhood, the internet connection is superfast!

True if you must have high speed internet then cable is great. However here in Florida the cable company gives no discount to people if they have cable and internet. In fact even if I don't have cable (which I don't) I still pay the same for broadband as a cable customer.
Prices for basic cable is $50 here with $50 more for broadband. For $30 I get the same channels on DISH.
DISH has great customer service. But if you guys get good discounts bundling your services, then by all means, keep it.
And for the record, I lived thru 3 hurricanes last year and never lost my satellite feed. ๐Ÿ™‚

In HD? They weren't listed as part of the package on the site. They said you had to pick them up with an antenna to get them. My TV doesn't have a built in receiver, so I wouldn't be able to get them with just an antenna without purchasing one. Is there some other way to get them?

Dish has a local station package that is maybe $10 dollars more. I don't know about the HD part, though. I would assume that if they broadcast in HD, then that's what you would get (if you have the proper receivers).

โ“ Which game time

The RSL web site (http://real.saltlake.mlsnet.com/MLS/schedule/season.jsp?team=rsl) has the April 2nd game @Metrostars at 5:00pm Mountain time. The KSL TV web site (http://tv.ksl.com/index.php?nid=23) has the game at 7pm.

Has anyone got the clarification on which time is correct?

I just looked up the Metrostars schedule (http://metrostars.mlsnet.com/MLS/schedule/season.jsp?team=met)and they state the game is 7pm Eastern Time.

I guess that means the RSL site is correct and the KSL site is incorrect?

Found out at the practice yesterday that the first match will be tape delayed(because KSL feels that the KSL news will get better ratings than RSL on General Conference Weekend) and will air the match at 7PM MST,
So the RSL site has not been updated yet!

Although I would rather watch the match than the news, KSL is probably right in their assumption.

RSL won't update their site, will they? They list game times, not broadcast times, I assume.
