MLS Direct Kick Returns for 2005 Season

Just signed up on DISH network. For $69, you get a ton of games from all over MLS. Trust me, this is a bargain for MLS fans. I've never been disappointed with MLS Direct Kick (or Shootout, or whatever they've called it over the years).

An FO source says that Fox Sports Rocky Mtn. will likely pick up the road games that KSL isn't broadcasting. He thinks we will be able to see all road games between ESPN, KSL, & Fox.

The plan to broadcast every game was a legit plan. But it looks like the budget and a few factors brought this plan down. The tape delay of the season opener is because KSL evening news is expected to draw a better rating than RSL. Especially with General Conference.

All this info confirmed/shared with me on Monday morning. Not trying to hold out info on anyone.

What about Fox Soccer Channel? Will they have any games?

And everyone in Utah should write Comcast and tell them we want HDnet so we can see those games. And you should do it even if you don't have HD so the rest of us that do can watch them. :D

Do either of them have HD coverage yet? They didn't the last time I checked, but that was a little while ago.

How much extra is it to get HD through a satellite? Don't you need a lot of special equipment, including a different dish to be able to pick it up? How many HD channels do you get?

-I believe the HD package costs $10 more a month.
-Yes, you need special equipment, but if you are a new customer a lot of it is free or discounted.
-I believe there is about 10 channels, such as HDnet and ESPN HD
