Loyalist Booth Saturday

At some point in time I must have inadvertantly said that I would organize a booth on Saturday. I will help organize, but I have a wedding to be at and so my actual attendance will be hit and miss.

We need volunteers to help man the booth so that we can collect names and $$$.

Please help me out!

It runs from 10am till 2 pm. Please volunteer... (even SoccerPrime, I know you have $$$ laying around to fly to Salt Lake 😉 )

P.S Does the name SoccerPrime make anyone else think of Optimus Prime from Transformers?

Yes I believe that's the idea.

I'd be more than happy to man the Loyalist booth as much as needed on Saturday. If you need help organizing it I am available for that as well, just let me know who to contact. I'll be there anyway, and as long as I get to wander around from time to time so my wife doesn't shoot me I'm game.

RSL single-game tickets on sale Saturday

SALT LAKE CITY - Real Salt Lake today announced that single-game tickets for the 2005 inaugural season will officially go on sale at the RSL Open House on the University of Utah campus at Rice-Eccles Stadium this Saturday, March 19, beginning at 10:00 a.m. MT. In addition, RSL will hold auditions for national anthem singers, public address announcers and videotape "Cantor-esque" goal calls for its inaugural season, as well as allow registration to be an RSL volunteer and Loyalists member. The days festivities run from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
"With exactly four weeks to go to our home opener, we know that fans are itching for a taste of the RSL experience," said RSL General Manager Steve Pastorino, who noted that the team will provide donuts, coffee and hot chocolate free of charge to fans (while supplies last). "On Saturday, fans can purchase single-game tickets and find out how they can be part of the action all season long. Fans, volunteers, Loyalists, aspiring singers - come one, come all!"

Check out our home schedule and get the best seats available for the games you want during our inaugural 2005 season! Individual ticket prices range from $32 for VIP seats down to $14 for north goal seats. And season ticket holders can check your seats and sightlines!

I would love to have anyone who would like to make a poster to identify who we are do that.

I will bring a Loyalist shirt to display.

I will also bring a stack of sign up forms.

I will have time to drop these supplies off and jet to a wedding, so help of any kind would be great.

how big of a poster do you need/want? I should be able to do that tonight if its not too big. I have a birthday dinner for my father tonight and I need to watch my daughter while my wife works too, but as long as she has PeeWees Playhouse to watch she wont bother me a bit 😉

So let me know and I'll see if its possible. I will be there tommorrow too, probably not the whole 4 hours but a good couple hours at least.

If my wife's obstetrician permits, I will be there with a partially-finished banner, and my 3-year-old.

Dora The Explorer would kick Pee Wee's butt.

Dang it, I work on Saturdays through the end of the month. I'd love to help but won't be able to make it.
