I was a fan of the team with the ugliest uniforms ever in MLS ('96 Galaxy).

Now I'm a fan of the team with the best-looking uniforms in MLS history.

Surely you jest. Galaxy '96 were bad, but not in the same league as the '96 Clash (pale green with that red scorpion-thing) or Wiz (crayon test pattern)--take your pick.

But we do now have the best uniforms with RSL. Agree wholeheartedly with that.

The '96 Galaxy got extra Bad Uniform points for playing in Pasadena during the day in the summer in mostly-black uniforms.

Yes, the Clash uniforms were bad and the Wiz did look like a Gay Rights organization softball team.

But our uniform was so bad that, in one of his few lucid decisions, Lothar Osiander decided to have the Galaxy wear white at home.

I can't argue with that.

Let's just say MLS had an inauspicious beginning when it came to uniforms.

Seems to have been corrected over the years. None are truly hideous anymore.
