I agree the GK jersey is nice...
As for the night... It was a great evening for myself, my wife, the Czar (Jake) and Duece. We all car pooled up to Park City and quite enjoyed ourselves. The early evening part has been aptly described... After all was said and done with the unveiling Trey Fitz-Gerald came up to me and said you are coming to the party at Buena Vitta, right? To which I said of course. Then the Loyalists were asked to help roll up our newest piece of equipment... a giant RSL jersey. We have been lotd it will be in our hands for use at games. Not a bad score. Then we came back down the hill and Chris Keeney (as has been mentioned) hung around to make sure that all the Loyalists went into the after party. Upon our arrival the doorman wouldn't let Keeney's wife in because she was not on the list. So Chris poked his head around the corner and suddenly our group was allowed access... Not a bad deal to have the Senior Dirrector of Sales as your escort to assure you get in. So we went in and smoozed with big shots from the team front office, players, major sponsors and at leasted one completely trashed Adidas rep. (however the other two were sober, the blond is a bit passed her limit, my wife is also sober and she is the one on the right sitting down). I however was one that left before the buffet. My wife had been feeling less than 100% all day and was a sport to come. But, we called the night early despite the fact she wouldn't say if she wanted to leave or not. Sometimes women expect you to read their minds and I think I may have got it right on this one. Thanks to everyone who was there. My wife has decided that soccer people are cool and she wouldn't mind hanging out with them a little more often. The thing that she couldn't believe is how friendly everyone was from the Loyalists to players to staff. She had expected NBA/NFL types of personalities, but found really down to earth people. Sign up one more person who has figured out soccer is a community and that is what makes it the game I love. Last edited by dysko : 03-14-2005 at 01:19 AM. How do I give rep to your wife? Great report, everyone. I'm really quite depressed now that I didn't make more of an effort to get out of doing chores.

Our socks look like the players' pet cats have sharpened their claws on their owners' calves.
But it's official! I'd Done The Double! I was a fan of the team with the ugliest uniforms ever in MLS ('96 Galaxy). Now I'm a fan of the team with the best-looking uniforms in MLS history.
