My guess is that Chelsea will take out their CL frustrations on the Prem. I wouldn't hope too much for a run of bad form.

I'm just hoping for one more bad game from Chelsea when Barca visits Stamford Bridge for the second leg. And it would help if the Blaugrana don't score one for the Blues next time.

Lets not forget that Morinho(Chelsea's coach) is playing reserves in CL, as he feels the Prem is more important. He actually thinks "who has the best season record" as opposed to "elimination-playoffs" is the way to win championships. 😉

He’s playing reserves? His starting lineup for Wednesday’s match looked an awful lot like that of the Prem (perhaps which the exception of Joe Cole vs. Eidur Gudjohnsen).

Thats a direct quote fby the Chelsea coach from the London Sunday Times which I have in front of me. I didn't get to see the game myself, so I can't confirm or deny if Morinho actually played his reserves for the CL game against Barc. Although with the resulting score, its hard to say they had their finest hour.

The result of the match certainly wasn’t due to a lack of talent. His starting line up consisted of all his Prem starters (minus Joe Cole):

Cech
Makelele
Carvalho
Lampard
Joe Cole
Duff
Gallas
Drogba
Ferrerira
Terry
Tiago

Gudjohnsen entered at minute 76

I hope the English media dump on Roy Carroll for his blunder!

Man U could still do it, but it's not going to be easy. San Siro is supposedly one of the hardest places to play for an away team! I predict Milan wins that game too.

Still picking Milan, though.
