RSL has turned the stadium around, and most fans have agreed to give them some leeway untill at least the end of the season, but that doesn't change the fact to a great measure many fans feel that they have been treated poorly by the FO. How such treatment could possibly be seen as the fan's fault makes reason stare.

That is all well and good, but I think you could have picked a better example. As a parent you know what a hot button it is to have someone suggest something horrible happen to your child.

I believe the original context of this discussion was someone's statement that he hadn't received poor treatment by the FO. His experience isn't any less valid than those that have been treated in a way that could merit improvement.

Theoretically, sometimes people feel misused/abused because they have actually been misused/abused. Sometimes people feel that way because they're overly sensitive. Sometimes there may have been some offense that has been blown out of proportion or taken as a personal attack when it shouldn't have been.

I suspect Aerick was suggesting that some fans have been overly sensitive or taken things personally. Hence, he was treated the same way but didn't choose to take offense. This is just supposition.

What was this thread about originally? I love how the moderation on this forum is basically non-existent. On BS, conversations like this would rarely be allowed to fester. I mean, continue.

And this place is much better off for it. Conversations are dynamic and anytime someone comes along and tries to artificially dampen them it leads to less effective communication.

In my opinion, moderation isn't about keeping threads on topic or censorship. It is about making sure that people are able to effectively communicate. Artificially putting limits on what can and can't be said is the exact opposite of effective moderation in my opinion.

Congratulations! But I do have to admit that it is pretty funny that you complain about a thread going off topic to take a thread off topic. Were you being hypocritical on purpose? Or was that some kind of higher purpose on your part?

I don't see the hypocrisy, but I do see the humor still.

Let me guess. You'll tell me I "complained about the moderators" or said that "people should stay on topic." Feel free to read what I actually wrote.

p.s. The moderation on BS is not heavy-handed at all. People there regularly have a go at each other, but they know when to let things go and move on. Which is what I'm about to do... Have a good day and feel free to misconstrue my words at random. That's half the fun of visiting this place.

You know what I bought on Ebay a few months ago. A Snoopy Sno-Cone Maker. I think everyone should have a Snoopy Sno-Cone Maker because they are super neat and lots of fun to have. If you want one you should look on Ebay just like I did, but don't ask me for mine because I am going to keep it.

That is the most classless, tasteless, disgusting, and utterly revolting thing I have ever heard.
