Las Vegas game changed to Houston?

Hey guys, I just saw this mentioned over on Bigsoccer and then went to this website www.mlsexhibitions2005.com

Down at the bottom it shows the game against The Rapids being played in Houston.

Good catch. I was hoping the rumor of the switch wasn't true, but it looks like it is. Bummer.

I have been trying to get a hold of anyone at RSL that can confirm or deny the rumor... no luck so far... I will post here when or if I learn something!

No Luck with RSL Front Office yet... but I did find this...
I went over there and looked and came away feeling icky!!!

OK, RSL has told me that the venue has been changed but they cannot confirm until the new venue says "yes".

My money at this point is that the game will be in Houston, not Vegas. Sorry.

Well, that sucks. I was looking forward to seeing the team for the first time down there. It just makes Apr 16th seem all that much further away.

I'm glad I ran right out and spent alot of money and made all the plans with friends coming in from other cities.... Took time off work,
was getting all fired up to go down there and cheer on RSL against the Crapids...

I can think of at least a dozen cities I would rather spend my time in than Las Vegas... but hey I am sure it was a really good reason to change venues....

Well what is a few hundred Non-refundable bucks between friends...ay?!
I will know better next time!
