I would have liked to have seen DJ with he back line we have now. And i liked the fact that Dj went out of his way to get the crowd involved. He got the crowd on its feet on several occasions. And maybe if he had a decent team to work with he wouldn't have been so bad in the locker room.

Its Amazing!!! Ever since the first Chivas game when the Chivas player came flying cleats first and dislocated DJ's shoulder, he fought on.
He put his his whole heart and body on the line for Real. He demonstrated both determination and integrity . He played injured for the balance of the season. He played with both heart and alot of pain and courage. I think he expected the other guys to give their best too. As a follow up, Immediately at the end of the season, DJ had his shoulder surgery and he worked hard to again be healthy and strong. From what I hear he is now in A-1 condition. God Bless You and God Bless Countess and all these other guys who try so hard and put their hearts and bodies on the line. They have picked a tough life. Its sure alot easier to sit back and be a Monday morning coach and criticize who didn't do as well as you would have, had you been out there.

DJ. No question. I agree with Blondie. DJ played with a shoulder injury through most of the season and waited until after the season to have surgery (at the request of the coaches). Does anyone have access to his stats after this many games in the season? I am sure that he had far more saves than Garlick has had. He played behind a frustrating back line but always gave it everything...if locker room cancer is not being content with losing, than I'll take it anyday. Anyone who has seen him on the field since his surgery could tell you he is 100%. Since there is no chance that DJ would play here again after how he was treated (having surgery at the coaches request than being released just days after his surgery)...I would take Nolly over Garlick. He lacks experience, but what better time to get experience than when we have nothing to lose. Hopefully the coaches don't feel pressured to stand by their (poor) choices and are not too prideful to make changes.

I'd take Garlick over Nolley right now. Maybe the back four are better because of Garlick's ability to organize the back four. Plus we got Talley as part of the trade and I think he has done a great job since they put him in as the defensive midfielder when Douglas left. The back four also got better when Torres went to the middle and Forko with more speed on the left.
Keep Garlick in and allow Nolley to learn from the sidelines for the rest of this season and maybe next season. Crushing losses and blowouts to a second year goalie does not equal the kind of experience we want him to have. GOReAL!!!!!! 😲 :slobber: 😲
