Does the SkyBox have any my secluded areas? I would think you might get more work done if you meet BEFORE the game not after. People might be tired and ready to go home after the game.

It has one, but it's probably too big for us; that's that "stadium" of which I spoke. The only problem with meeting beforehand is that the game is at 6:00 our time, and people might have a hard time getting there too much earlier than that (people getting out of work at 5 (even though it's a saturday (what ever happened to the standard work day (or week!))))

I would gladly volunteer my house, which is big enough to accomodate a good number, but I'd have to order FSC.

Oh, and I'm planning to be in the hospital that day, so you'd have to meet without me. (There's a good chance I'll have a scheduled delivery of these twins next week, so I won't be attending the meeting unless it's at Orem Community Hospital. But you can all feel free to visit me at the hospital and bring me gifts.) πŸ˜‰

Okay, let's get this figured out, March 5 is very close. I propose we watch the game at the SkyBox (There is no Jazz game that night so we probably will have plenty of room) and then either

A. Go over to a corner and have the rest of our meeting

or

B. Make an exodus to the UofU institute or wherever we can get a room to meet in.

Loyal1, Dysko? Anybody else? What say ye?

The fountain at the Gateway is close. We could all go for a dip in the fountain while we practice our songs after watching the game. I wonder how long it would take them to kick us out? :D

as a out-of-towner, my vote isn't worth much, but I think Jake's plan is good. SkyBox first for game, then meeting later (wherever).

I say "Yea".

I'm up for pretty much any plan you come up with, as long as it isn't outside. In case you've forgotten, IT"S WINTER.

I'm up for anything.

Keep in mind if we watch the game at the Skybox, it starts at 6 and would end at 8. You figure it will take a half hour to get everyone from the Skybox to where ever we go for the rest of the meeting. So that would start at 830 and should last about an hour and a half. Which would put us at 10pm (boy my math skills are good)

Do we know what time the LDS Institute building closes? If they want to close before 10 maybe we would have to look at the Library or maybe even the RSL front offices.

Anyone?

Is that SkyBox that crowded at 8pm that you can't just have it there? A well attended informal meeting is better than 5 people at the Institute Bldg....right?

I have updated the website to say we will be having a viewing party at the SkyBox with the Meeting to be held afterwards (8pm). I am making it obvious that we are having the meeting at the Skybox. Is that bad? let me know if you object.
Hmmm... is Glenn, Dave or Steve going? Would be nice to have some Loyalist leadership there.... :D
