Anyone have any recording equipment?

This may sound like a wild idea but hear me out. I have a CD that I listen to quite often that is a recording of Liverpool's Kop Choir. It was recorded at two different games back in the 70's. One is while they were playing Chelsea, the other while they played Bayern Munich. Its just the crowd noise and them singing their songs and chants.

We aren't Liverpool but a recording of the Loyalists singing and chanting may sound pretty cool. We could even record ourselves all year and then take the best at the end of the year, put it on one tape or cd and then sell it to raise money for ourselves.

To make it a good recording though I imagine it would have to be somewhat high quality equipment, not just one of those handheld recorders.

Would anyone else like "Sounds from the Blood Gutter" on tape?

Also, does anyone have a fairly good camcorder?

I think that we should start chronicling our adventures and then at the end of the year we can have a party and show the video highlights of the year. I think that would be really great. I'd do it, but my camcorder doesn't always work.

I have a camcorder and I have video production/editing skills, but I won't be here for the end of the season, so I'm not sure I can help.

Maybe you could get the ball rolling and we could find someone else to capture the second half of the season. I'd just hate to miss out on getting any coverage of our first tailgate and home match. This is something that we'll never get to do again. My camcorder is broken right now or I would definitely do it. I say bring yours tomorrow and even tonight at least. We'll plan on something else down the road when we need it.
